----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ABOUT US

At The Compleat Food Group, we’re on a mission to create tasty food that’s better for people and the planet — we call it Food to
Feel Good.

Our 6000 (and growing) colleagues make this possible, crafting delicious products for the UK’s leading retailers and our
much-loved brands, including Wall’s Pastry, Squeaky Bean, Unearthed, and Vadasz.

We’re now looking for an experienced and motivated Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Advisor to join our team at our Clitheroe
site. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a hands-on role that’s vital to keeping our people safe and our
site compliant.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE ROLE

As the SHE Advisor, you’ll support the SHE Manager in implementing and developing the site’s Safety, Health & Environmental
Management System. You’ll work closely with colleagues across all departments to identify and reduce risk, promote safe working
practices, and build a culture of safety and wellbeing.

You’ll also act as the site’s competent person in the absence of the SHE Manager.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Support the reduction of SHE risks and hazards across the site.

* Help the site achieve and maintain legal compliance.

* Deliver effective health & safety training and toolbox talks.

* Carry out workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

* Investigate incidents and lead root cause analyses (RCA).

* Provide practical SHE advice and support to all departments.

* Manage and audit contractors, visitors, and permits to work.

* Support group SHE initiatives, campaigns, and compliance audits.

* Maintain accurate records and ensure strong document control.

* Liaise with enforcement authorities and external stakeholders when required.

* Deputise for the SHE Manager and contribute to wider SHE forums across TCFG.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ABOUT YOU

You’ll be an experienced SHE professional who can influence, engage, and lead by example. You’ll be hands-on, proactive, and
passionate about continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.

What we’re looking for:

* Minimum Level 3 Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent).

* Environmental qualification (IEMA or similar).

* At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing or FMCG.

* Sound knowledge of BS ISO 45001 and environmental management systems.

* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills.

* A collaborative, people-focused approach with strong attention to detail.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WHY JOIN US?

At The Compleat Food Group, you’ll join a business that values how we work just as much as what we achieve. We offer a supportive
environment where you can grow, make a difference, and contribute to a shared purpose.

We offer:

* 33 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays)

* 2 paid volunteering days each year

* Retail and online discount schemes

* Employee wellbeing and community support groups

* Access to GroceryAid for 24/7 financial, emotional, and practical support

* Training and development via our personalised online learning platform

* Charity initiatives, team events, and wellbeing programmes

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
