Assistant Accountant
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 DOE
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm with the option of working 8.00 am - 4.00 pm
Location: Birmingham - Free Parking
Hollyfield Personnel are supporting a Birmingham based organisation who are thriving and looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone who is currently in a similar role or looking for the next step up. Our client will fund further studies for you to gain additional qualifications to progress your career with them,
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with your direct manager whilst supporting the finance team
Complete management accounts
Input and check supplier invoices
Raise customer invoices
Complete bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
VAT returns
Balance sheet reconciliation
P & L Analysis
Revenue posting
Assist with month-end processing
Manage general office and finance tasks
Complete payment runs
Account reconciliation
Help establish processes in the team
The Successful Applicant
Experience in a similar accounts based role
AAT Level 4 Qualified
Able to work full time in an office setting
Experience using Sage Line 50
