Responsibility is to supervise a case load of foster carers

The Team provides support and supervision to our approved foster carers.

We also manage the Duty system, working with the Placements Team whereby children are placed with foster carers.

Undertaking assessments to understand the needs of children and their families.

Visiting children and their families to offer support and guidance.

Carrying out interventions to address specific issues.

Reviewing the work, you've done to ensure it's effective.

Engaging in direct work with children and families to build strong, supportive relationships.

Performing any other tasks identified as necessary to support the well-being of children.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage complex caseloads in areas such as Child Protection, Safeguarding, and Adult Social Care.

Provide professional assessments, intervention, and support to vulnerable individuals and families.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes.

Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with UK legislation and local policies.

Essential Requirements:

Degree/Masters in Social Work and SWE registration.

2+ years of post-qualification experience.

Strong knowledge of UK social care legislation and practice.
