VAN DRIVERS
We are looking for van drivers to work Mon-Friday ( 8 hours) with a 6th day of overtime available for Saturdays.
All roles are based out of our East Midlands Airport
Working hours are 05:00-14:00.
The role will require you to be able to safely drive vehicles weighing a maximum of 3.5 Ton (Large vans / Luton Bodies) from our EMA facility to any other branch facility in England. High level of flexibility as destinations will likely not be known until the day, so one day could be sent on run to Cambridge but the next Newcastle or Exeter.
A level of manual handling will be required as they will be expected to load their vehicles with the freight before departing and the ability to think quickly and act even quicker, whilst always maintaining safety.
We would like the successful candidate to be able to start on W/C 17th November and at present we expect the work to run through to 24th December.
Will need to be able to do a 2 year reference check pass a DBS and do CO training
rate of pay is
5am till 8am £18.36ph then from 8am till 2pm £15.65
overtime £23.48
