  • Behaviour and Well-being: Implement effective behaviour regulation strategies in line with school policies. Support children who are in crisis and act as an effective model of expected behaviour.

  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, other schools, educational psychologists, and health and social care professionals to support pupil well-being and development.

  • Safety and Resources: Ensure the health, safety, and appropriate behaviour of pupils at all times, including during off-site activities. Secure relevant resources for pupils.

  • Experience:

    • Relevant experience supporting children with complex SEND needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), Cognition and Learning, ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), and Attachment Difficulties.

    • Proven experience working with pupils with SEMH or other SEN in a school or similar setting.

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Demonstrate patience, acceptance, curiosity, and empathy towards children.

    • Be resilient, energetic, and possess a solution-focused attitude.
