Our Motor Trade Client is an Independent family-run HGV Commercial Bodyshop based in Ashford and they require an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of bodyshop productives.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum based on experience and skills
- 29 days holiday including public holidays
- £2,000 incentive paid after six months of service
- Annual pay reviews aligned with performance
- Substantial overtime and night allowance options (optional)
- Monday to Thursday working hours from 07:00 to 17:00
- Fridays from 07:00 to 15:00, offering a 45.5-hour week
- Complimentary breakfast cereals, milk, sugar, tea, and coffee to start your day.
Typical duties:
- Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining HGV or Commercial Vehicles in line with our Client’s high standards.
- Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in the role.
- To identify additional repair work and liaise with the bodyshop advisor
- Communicating effectively with other team members
- Carry out quality controls
Requirements:
- Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of HGV systems, and electrical diagnostics.
- ATA qualification would be beneficial
- Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre
For your hard work as a MET Technician / Fitter for our client you will be paid up to £55,000 with OTE circa of £59,000.
