HOURS OF WORK - 5 DAYS MON- FRI 0600-1600

Job Overview

The Senior Supervisor will oversee and ensure the smooth running of the operation with the help of duty Security agents.

Ensure all CAA regulations are met and that security agents meet regulatory compliance while maintaining and operating within their duties.

To oversee the site Perimeter contract and to ensure all security procedures are upheld and all Security Access Control Points are covered at all times.

Main Duties

-Have direct responsibility for all Supervisors and Security agents on shift.

-Ensure all contractual shifts and positions are covered with fully trained Security Agents

-Maintain the professional level of the operation.

-Achieve and maintain full compliance with Regulator, Airport, and Mitie standards.

-Maintenance of Client and Company Procedures

-Daily reporting with the Mitie Senior Operations Manager on all operational areas and concerns.

-Report and log any disciplinary or performance issues as soon as they arise.

-To perform any other duties as directed by the Operations Manager.

-Ensure quality of services provided by Mitie matches customer requirements.

-Promote Mitie positively with customers and their staff.

-Ensuring sufficient manning / equipment is available to carry out operations to expected standards.

-Deal with any problems that arise amongst personnel during shift.

-Consult with all supervisors to ensure effective communication levels are maintained.

Security and Health & Safety

-Look out for, and to immediately report, any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards, on site.

-Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment in order to take the appropriate action to reduce the chance of disruption, loss or damage.

-Use common sense and initiative by immediately involving others if a situation appears to become threatening.

-Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry as soon as possible after any incident, which can then be used as part of the Incident Report process.

-To ensure welfare calls are being carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions (AI's).
