Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service / Maintenance Engineer - Oxford
About the Role:
My client is seeking an experienced and qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service / Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding across a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our commercial and domestic clients, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service work on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults across various system types (VRV/VRF, split systems, cold rooms, etc.).
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Represent the company professionally when liaising with clients.
Requirements:
- Based within the Oxford area.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent).
- F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).
- Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent fault-finding skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
SALARY & PACKAGE:
- 40 – 45K depending on exp.
- D2D travel
- 40 hour working week
- 1 in 8 call out rota
- Van & fuel card
- 20 days holiday + bank
