As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be a hugely valuable support to our Nursing and Midwifery teams providing care to our patients. Every day will be different and you will work alongside the rest of the team carrying out a wide range of tasks and assisting with care to support the needs of the patients and their families.
• Examples of what you may do as part of your role• Supports RN in assessment of patients, running of plastic surgery trauma clinics and minor operation lists

Performs clinical duties under the supervision of registered Nurse
•
Orientates patient and relatives to the Department
•
Follows plan of care, reports any changes in the patient's condition
•
Contributes with suggestions and ideas for action
•
Reports results of any intervention
•
Records and documents accurately episodes of care in accordance with guidelines.
•
Liaises with other departments and members of the multidisciplinary team as directed by the
nurse in charge
