The successful candidate will manage a well-organised and highly disciplined Internal Engagement Room, supervising pupils who are temporarily removed from lessons. The pupils will have presented challenging behaviour or will have had difficulty in meeting normal classroom expectations.
This role will involve working with subject teachers to allocate work for the students to challenge and motivate them, whilst ensuring to maintain a high standard of learning within the Internal Engagement Room.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal, be approachable and have the ability to build relationships across the school. You will be seen as a professional with integrity and enthusiasm for this area. You will need to use your own initiative and be able to manage a varied workload, accommodating the needs of individual students. Previous experience of working within a school would be advantageous.
