At Homecare 2000 we believe that compassionate care is essential for the well-being of our clients. We are looking for individuals who are eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
Home care 2000
Working in partnership with the NHS for many years and caring for Torbay since 1993.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to people in their own homes. You will assist our clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment.
Support with medication administration as per care plans.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding if required.
Offer companionship and emotional support.
Carry out domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to supervisors.
Follow health and safety procedures and safeguarding protocols.
Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
Hourly rate variable, depending on shift.
Car or bike driving licence preferable but other options can be explored.
Mileage/petrol rates paid.
