Salary Scale SCP: 7 - 12 (£26,403 - £28,598 pro-rata per annum)
Plus Local Government Average Salary Pension Scheme
Bridgwater Town Council is a progressive employer looking for a Part-Time Facilities and Projects Co-Ordinator for 21 hours per week over a five-day period, flexible by agreement but must include Friday hours. Some weekend work may be required on occasion.
This is a varied and hands-on role, providing administrative, operational, and practical support to both the Facilities and Projects teams. You’ll work closely with the Facilities Manager and Project Manager to help deliver a range of initiatives and ensure our buildings and facilities are maintained and operated effectively.
As Facilities and Projects Co-ordinator, you will:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, sustainability, and council policies.
• Liaise with contractors and internal colleagues to arrange repairs and compliance works.
• Help coordinate logistics for project activities and track budgets.
• Respond to internal and external enquiries and maintain accurate records.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiar with basic compliance and health & safety procedures.
• Experienced in administrative support, ideally within facilities or project coordination.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
