Shift Driver-AMC RAF Alcon/Moles Site Management Working pattern: 39 hours
- Shift work in week blocks Full-time Location: AMC RAF Alcon Salary: Up to £29,000
Serco is looking for a Shift Driver based in Alconbury Reporting to the Serco Vehicle Operations Supervisor, the role requires you to drive left hand drive vehicles for passenger shuttles between set locations. The 7-day operation is covered through shift work
Main Accountabilities:
- Safely drive passengers between set locations, maintain timely arrival and departure in accordance with the pre-determined schedule.
- You will be required to work a 5-day week covering a 7 day shift pattern. 2 weekends in every eight will be worked, with a shift allowance being given during this time.
- You will be required to carry out various yard duties when driving duties are not required.
- There will also be a requirement to maintain the vehicles to be suitable standard through cleaning, washing and reporting any mechanical or technical faults to the maintenance department.
- Always maintain excellent interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with customers being transported.
- The ability to multi-task to assist in other contracted areas – learning various roles and skills, for which training will be provided.
