We're recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a mixed Year 2/3 class in a specialist setting known for its inclusive ethos and calm, structured environment. Class sizes are small, and staff work closely together to support pupils with additional needs through tailored routines and positive relationships.
The Role
- Support a mixed Year 2/3 class in a specialist primary setting
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism and behavioural needs
- Help maintain a calm, structured classroom environment
- Implement behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
- Work closely with the class teacher and wider team to promote engagement and learning
- Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive school ethos
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting children with Autism and behavioural needs
- DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Immediate availability
- Confident supporting primary-aged pupils, ideally in Years 2 or 3
- Calm, patient, and proactive approach
