Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Trainee Architectural Technologist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out measurement surveys, preparing detailed planning and Building Regulation drawings, and contributing to a range of architectural and design projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct measurement of existing structures. Prepare detailed architectural drawings for planning applications and building regulations compliance. Collaborate with senior architects and designers to develop design solutions. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and specifications. Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities as required. Maintain accurate records and project documentation.

Qualifications and Certifications:
For Trainee roles: a relevant degree or HND in Architectural Technology, Construction Technology, or related field. Knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural design software. Experience with measured surveys and preparation of technical drawings. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Professional Bodies:
CIAT (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists) Additional certifications in BIM (Building Information Modelling) and CDM (Construction Design and Management Regulations) are desirable.
