Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire
Hours: Afternoon shifts during term time (exact hours vary by school)
Optional: Early morning 6-hour shifts available during school holidays
Pay: £14.00 – £15.50 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Afterschool & Holiday Club Assistant to join one of the local SEN schools in the Wantage area. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children, both at the end of the school day and during holiday programs. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a supportive team and make a real difference in children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
Support and lead fun, age-appropriate activities for children
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of every child in your care
Prepare and serve healthy snacks
Maintain accurate attendance records
Communicate effectively with parents at pick-up and support smooth handovers
Work alongside school staff to uphold safeguarding and care standards
