We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Driver to join our busy depot in Northampton.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
Duties
-Operate tipper lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations.
-Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
-Load and unload aggregates safely, adhering to site regulations.
-Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle at all times.
Competencies
-Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid CPC and HGV Licence
-Drivers Digital Taco Card
-Effective communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
-Excellent time management abilities to meet delivery deadlines.
-Strong geographical knowledge of Northamptonshire
