Hays Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Preston to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or Level 4 Teaching Assistant for a long-term temporary role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school where your skills and experience will be highly valued.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working with pupils in a variety of subjects and age groups. You'll be expected to lead small group interventions, support classroom activities, and at times deliver planned lessons under the guidance of teaching staff. Your contribution will be vital in helping students reach their full potential both academically and personally.
To be considered, you'll need a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or HLTA status, along with experience working in a secondary school setting. Strong communication skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff are essential.
