Location: Irlam
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £102 per day
Contract: November 2025, Ongoing - Long Term position
Are you a Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role supporting children in a primary school setting?
We're currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic TA to join a welcoming school in the Irlam area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's education while developing your experience in both mainstream and SEN support.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as required.
· Providing additional support to children with special educational needs (SEN) on a 1:1 or small group basis
· Assisting the class teacher in preparing resources and classroom activities
· Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
· Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
Requirements:
· Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
· Previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting
· Experience working with or supporting pupils with SEN
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning
· An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
· Ability to provide a minimum of 2 professional references covering the last 2 years.
