Your new role
As a Maintenance Plumber, you'll be part of a proactive maintenance team delivering both planned and reactive services across the site. You'll specialise in plumbing and mechanical repairs, ensuring statutory compliance and supporting the wider team with general maintenance tasks.

Location: Beeston, Nottingham
Salary: £36,500- £37,000 per annum + overtime
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (10-week rolling rota, covering 2 weekends)
Key responsibilities:
Reactive plumbing and mechanical repairs in line with SLAs
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities
Statutory testing (PAT, fire alarms, fire doors, etc.)
Accurate record-keeping and contractor liaison
Health & Safety assessments and hazard reporting
Supporting other sites and working additional hours during peak periods (e.g. student arrivals)
What you'll need to succeed
- NVQ Level 2 or above in Plumbing or a related mechanical trade
- Proven experience in a plumbing and maintenance environment
- Strong understanding of building services and safe working practices
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and statutory compliance
- Ability to carry out both reactive and planned maintenance tasks
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
