Crynodeb
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on individual to join our team as a Trainee Sign Installer. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the skills and techniques required to install a wide variety of signage, including internal and external signs, vinyl applications, and large format displays. Full training will be provided, with the potential to develop into a skilled and experienced sign fitter.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist senior installers with the preparation, delivery, and installation of signage.
• Learn and develop skills in using tools, machinery, and access equipment safely
and effectively.
• Support in the application of vinyl graphics, lettering, and digital prints.
• Help ensure installations are completed to a high standard, on time, and in line
with customer requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools, vehicles, and work areas.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including safe working at height.
• Provide excellent customer service when working on-site.
Skills & Qualities
• Practical and hands-on approach with good attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative when required.
• Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools (training provided).
• Good communication skills.
Physically fit, with the ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
Flexible attitude to working hours, as some early starts, late finishes, and
overnights will be required on occasions.
Requirements
Full UK driving licence
CSCS card required.
Must be registered on the Construction Industry Scheme as a sub contractor for tax purposes.
IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos awareness & S.P.A. certification (advantageous, but training and certification can be provided)
Previous experience in a practical, trade, or construction environment is desirable, but not essential.
