Job Title: Estimator
Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
We are working with a specialist timber‑frame construction company delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. They are seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate cost plans, support tendering, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
Responsibilities
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, labour and subcontractors.
• Analyse drawings and specifications to identify quantities, risks and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Collaborate with project managers and designers to align estimates with budgets.
• Maintain cost records and support tender submissions.
• Experience in estimating in timber‑frame or general construction.
• Strong technical understanding of timber‑frame methods and materials.
• Proficient in estimating software and Excel.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Relevant construction or quantity surveying qualification desirable.
• Competitive salary £25k-£35k.
