About The Role
We are seeking a Payroll Officer to provide essential support to our clients Payroll team during a busy period. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in line with internal policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the payroll team with accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
- Carry out calculations for pay, deductions, and adjustments.
- Assist with payroll data entry, validation, and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, HMRC regulations, and relevant employment legislation.
- Provide administrative and technical support to help maintain smooth payroll operations.
About You
- Previous experience working in a payroll or finance administration role.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
- Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
