If your dream job involves sparks flying, working with metal and machinery in a workshop with views that rival your welding skills — then this role is for you!
A rare opportunity has opened up within a unique engineering environment. Nestled on the edge of the stunning Eryri National Park, this is not your average welding gig. Think precision fabrication, specialist metalwork, and hands-on projects that are anything but routine — all within a setting where craftsmanship and innovation go hand in hand.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques, along with plasma and gas cutting tools
• Interpreting and working from technical drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions
• Fabricating metal components to precise specifications and tight tolerances
• Applying your problem-solving skills and hands-on experience to produce high-quality, durable results
• Contributing to both restoration and new-build projects in a dynamic workshop environment
• Maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
We are keen to hear from you if you have the following:
• Skilled in MIG, TIG and ARC welding (plasma and oxy cutting = bonus!)
• Confident reading and working from drawings or verbal instructions
• Experience manufacturing to tight tolerances
• Self-motivated, organised, and a great communicator
• Basic IT skills
• Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential
This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week (with the occasional weekend), easily commutable from Bangor, Caernarfon, and Porthmadog. In return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £27,560 per annum depending on experience, plus a range of company benefits.
This is a brilliant opportunity to put your metalwork and fabrication skills to use in a role that blends hands-on engineering with unique, one-of-a-kind projects. Whether you're based in North Wales or looking for a fresh start somewhere full of natural beauty, craft, and character — we want to hear from you.
Apply today and start your next adventure in engineering!
