Pay Rate: £18 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Site Manager / Foreman to oversee day-to-day operations on a new residential construction site. The ideal candidate will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality — managing tradesmen, coordinating deliveries, and liaising with the main contractor and project manager.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise all on-site construction activities and workforce.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and delivery drivers.
Ensure works are completed on schedule and within specification.
Monitor site health & safety compliance at all times (PPE, site cleanliness, signage).
Maintain accurate site records, including daily progress reports and delivery logs.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe working practices.
Communicate daily progress to the project manager.
Manage materials, tools, and equipment on site.
Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimise delays.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager, Working Foreman, or similar role.
Strong understanding of building regulations and construction methods.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Valid CSCS card (SSSTS / SMSTS preferred).
Full UK driving licence and reliable transport.
References required.
