Acorn by Synergie is hiring for Howmet Aerospace in Exeter, a global leader in aerospace manufacturing. Full-time Operative roles are available in both the Wax and Core Departments, working a rotating shift pattern between mornings and afternoons. All candidates must pass a medical assessment as part of the recruitment process.

Key Duties:

Wax Operative:

• Shape wax moulds using tools, knives, and Bunsen burners.

• Work on detailed, hands-on tasks.

• Apply skills from sewing, crafting, model-making, or electronics where relevant.

Core Department Operative:

• Assist in producing cores used in casting aerospace components.

• Operate machinery and follow precise production processes.

• Mechanical or manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential.

Wax Injection Operator:

• Operate wax injection equipment.

• Change die patterns and perform basic quality checks.

Requirements:

• Ability to work rotating shifts.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Willingness to work in a physically active role.

• Medical assessment must be passed before starting.
