Port Talbot | Competitive hourly rate | Mon-Fri | Temporary, 18-month minimum | Construction Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Welfare Cleaners for a major construction project in Port Talbot. These positions are for a minimum of 18 months, with the possibility of longer-term work on other local projects. The role offers the chance to join a reputable construction team that values safety, reliability, and high standards of cleanliness.

Key Duties:
  • Sweep and clear debris from work areas.

  • Clean welfare facilities including toilets, canteens, and offices.

  • Empty bins and manage waste disposal.

  • Wipe down surfaces and maintain hygiene standards.

  • Report hazards or maintenance issues to site management.

  • Work independently while following site safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:
  • Valid CSCS card.

  • Previous experience cleaning on construction or industrial sites preferred.

  • Good understanding of health & safety practices.

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

  • Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.

  • PPE can be provided if required.
