Membership & Events Administrator
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 from home)
Salary: £23,500 per annum
Contract: Permanent, (34.5 hours per week)

About the Role:

We're looking for an organised and proactive Membership Administrator to join our client's busy team. You'll provide vital administrative support to our Membership & Events department, ensuring smooth delivery of member services, communications, and events.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer skills who thrives in a people-focused role.

Key Responsibilities:

Membership Support
* Act as the first point of contact for member and public enquiries.
* Process new membership applications, renewals, and updates.
* Maintain accurate member data in the CRM system.
* Assist with member benefit activities and produce regular membership reports.

Event Coordination
* Support the planning and administration of events, including competitions and conferences.
* Liaise with venues, suppliers, and attendees to ensure smooth event delivery.
* Provide logistical and administrative support before, during, and after events.
* Ensure all events meet organisational standards and brand guidelines.

Marketing & Communications
* Assist with website content updates and member communications.
* Help maintain promotional materials, welcome packs, and event merchandise.
* Contribute to wider campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities.

Person Specification:

Essential
* 2+ years' experience in an administrative or events role.
* Excellent organisational and written communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Confident liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
* Good understanding of GDPR and data handling.

Desirable
* Experience with Microsoft 365 and CRM platforms (especially Open Engage).
* Background in membership organisations or trade associations.
* Knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry (advantageous but not essential).
