An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Technician to join a leading renewable energy company. You'll play a key role in ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with environmental regulations.
You'll be responsible for environmental monitoring, sampling, and reporting, maintaining compliance with the site's Environmental Permit and contributing to the wider sustainability and performance goals of the business.
What You'll Be Doing-
Managing environmental compliance and reporting to regulatory standards.

Coordinating and submitting Waste Returns, Pollution Inventory, and performance reports.

Overseeing the site's Environmental Management System (EMS) and related plans (Odour, Noise, Fire Prevention, Waste, etc.).

Supervising on-site sampling and environmental monitoring activities.

Maintaining weighbridge data integrity and reporting.

Conducting site inspections, COSHH assessments, and environmental risk assessments.

Supporting the site's commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Experience managing environmental compliance within waste, energy, or industrial operations.

Working knowledge of SEPA or similar environmental regulators.

NEBOSH Environmental Certificate or equivalent qualification (or equivalent experience).

Understanding of environmental data, emissions monitoring, and ISO 14001 systems.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Right to work in the UK.
