Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic GCSE English Lecturer to join our team. You will deliver engaging lessons to GCSE learners, helping them develop their literacy skills and achieve excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver GCSE English lessons to a diverse learner cohort.
- Monitor and assess learner progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Support learners to develop literacy, communication, and exam skills.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, attendance, and learner progress.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and the continuous improvement of teaching resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure learners receive consistent support.
Person Specification:
- Relevant teaching qualification and experience in delivering GCSE English.
- Strong knowledge of GCSE English curriculum and exam requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
