Learning Support Assistant (SEN)

We are a welcoming and forward-thinking SEN school located in Chelmsford, Essex, seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our dynamic and supportive team.
About the Role:
As an LSA, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to students with a variety of learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other complex learning needs. This is a highly rewarding role where every day brings new opportunities to help young people thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide 1:1 or small group support within the classroom
· Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
· Support students with emotional regulation, communication, and personal development
· Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
· Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, therapists, and parents/carers
Were Looking For:
· Experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential)
· A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
· Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
