Contract:Part-time (two days per week), working term-time plus INSET days, 8am until 4pm with a 30-minute break
Salary:National Joint Council Pay Spine Point 4 (£25,185 per annum pro rata) Prorated salary, 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, £8,655 per annum

About the Role
As the face and voice of the school, you will be at the heart of their daily operations, providing a warm welcome and efficient support to all visitors, students, and staff. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Greeting all visitors, students, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Managing a busy telephone, answering calls, taking messages, and directing enquiries appropriately.
- Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
- Providing general administrative support.
- Managing student sign-in/sign-out procedures for late arrivals or early leavers.
- Managing the sign-in/sign-out of visitors, issuing security badges, checking identity, and notifying the appropriate members of staff.
- Assisting with absence calls to parents and carers.
- Ensuring the highest levels of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
About You

- Highly organised, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, discrete, and able to handle confidential information sensitively.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
- A team player with a positive, proactive and resilient attitude.
- Empathetic and patient, with a genuine interest in supporting young people.
Previous experience in a school or a similar customer-facing reception is desirable, but more important is the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
