We are looking for a Public Health Intelligence Officer - Community Safety to join our team and play a pivotal role in tackling crime and improving safety across Slough. Working at the heart of the Safer Slough Partnership, you will use your analytical skills to turn data into insight, helping shape evidence-led strategies and interventions on key issues such as domestic abuse, serious violence, VAWG, and anti-social behaviour. This is an exciting opportunity to influence decision-making, collaborate with a wide range of partners, and ensure our approaches to community safety are firmly rooted in evidence and impact. Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Community Safety team as a Crime and Community Safety Intelligence Analyst. In this key role, you will support the work of the Safer Slough Partnership (SSP) by leading on the collection, analysis, and reporting of crime and anti-social behaviour data. You will play a vital role in shaping evidence-led responses to community safety priorities, including domestic abuse, knife crime, VAWG, and FGM, as well as evaluating the impact of partnership interventions. This is an excellent opportunity to influence strategy and performance through robust intelligence, while working closely with a wide range of internal and external partners. Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached. The payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by your Director. Alongside a competitive salary, we provide: 26 days annual leave (not including Bank holidays), rising to 30 days between 2 - 5 years’ service and 33 days after 5 years’ service.
