We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
Engage with young people to build trusting relationships and provide emotional support.
Facilitate educational and recreational activities that promote personal development.
Mentor individuals, offering guidance on life skills, academic challenges, and social interactions.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for youth.
Assist in the development and implementation of programmes tailored to the needs of young people, including those with special educational needs.
Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress reports for each youth participant.
Promote a safe and inclusive atmosphere where all young people feel valued and respected.
Experience
Proven experience working with children or adolescents in a mentoring or support work capacity is essential.
Background in youth work or special education is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with young people from diverse backgrounds.
A commitment to fostering positive relationships and encouraging personal growth among youth.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to take initiative when necessary. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people through dedicated support and mentorship.
