Job Title: Blaster and Sprayer
Location: Portsmouth
Employment Type: CIS Contractor
Start Date: 3rd November 2025
Accommodation Allowance: £40 per night

We are a respected industrial contractor delivering large-scale projects across the UK. We are currently seeking experienced Blasters and Sprayers to join our professional, safety-focused team in Portsmouth.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople to work on high-profile industrial projects while receiving competitive pay rates and allowances.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and paint industrial surfaces in accordance with required specifications and standards.
Carry out surface preparation, including cleaning, blasting, and priming.
Apply coatings using airless, conventional, or brush/roller methods.
Inspect paint applications to ensure quality standards are achieved.
Adhere to all site health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to meet project deadlines efficiently and safely.
Requirements:
TTP Painter (Gold or Silver) or ICATS certification – essential.
Proven experience working in industrial painting or heavy industry environments.
Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating systems, and paint application methods.
Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to undergo Security Clearance (SC).
Compensation and Benefits:
Gold Blaster/Sprayer: £23.00 per hour
Silver Blaster/Sprayer: £22.00 per hour
Overtime: £1.50 per hour for hours worked beyond 40 per week (approximately 70 hours expected per week)
Accommodation Allowance: £40 per night
