St Minver House Care Home is a Residential Care Home in St Minver, Cornwall.
We are looking for someone to join our team to work as a care assistant in our friendly and vibrant Home. As a care assistant your duties will include assisting residents with their individual needs ensuring a high level of care is maintained at all times, this will include personal care needs, emotional support and assisting with any care needs.. You will report to the senior care assistant on duty who will support you throughout your shift, you must be caring, compassionate and understanding. You must be able to work independently on your own initiative as well as in a team.
We are able to offer a variety of shifts to suit: 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 8am-8pm.
Full time hours available: 36 hours per week
About you:
No formal qualifications required although Care Certificate or NVQ 2/3 (or equivalent) is beneficial
A good level of English
A warm & friendly personality
A good communicator
Able to use initiative
Able to work in a team as well as on your own at times
Reliable
