Crynodeb
Main duties will include:
• Supervise the Cannock Estates team under the direction of the site manager.
• Gain experience and cover at other campuses when required.
• Work with the security and liaison officer with ID checks and security around campuses.
• To lead and motivate a team of staff to ensure the facilities meet the needs of staff, learners and visitors,
• To be responsible for maintaining buildings and plant in a safe manner and to high standards,
• To ensure the efficient operation and security of the College facilities.
• To be responsible for regulatory checks and repairs in areas such as asbestos, legionella and PAT testing, for example,
• To ensure the prompt opening and securing of premises, together with the rota for out of hours attendance to alarm activations or emergencies.
• Review and submit orders for Estates consumables and small maintenance needs
• To manage minor improvement works, reactive and planned maintenance tasks, and some aspects of site regulatory testing.
The successful applicant will have general experience of maintenance work, be able to work well as part of a team and be effective at problem solving.
