PERSONAL ASSISTANT, FULWOOD AREA. REF : LILS/LM/CG
A kind gentleman is looking to find a caring personal assistant to help him navigate daily life and build a trusting, respectful partnership.
This gentleman lives with ME, EUPD and OCD with intrusive thoughts which can be very debilitating at times and leaves him feeling guilty and overwhelmed.
No personal care is needed and the role is not just about practical support but about creating a safe, relaxed space, help build confidence and encourage staying socially included which in particular involves a keen interest in listening to music.
The main duties would involve acting as an advocate and being a companion, along with other practical and household tasks, including general domestic support and an interest in DIY would be an advantage.
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable person who has an understanding of how mental health impacts on peoples lives and can offer emotional reassurance.
Access to own vehicle with business insurance and full clean driving license is needed to enable access to the local community.
7 hours per week at a rate of £12.21 per hour. Hours of work need to be flexible by negotiation and will be worked Monday – Friday daytime, with very occasional availability for potential gigs of interest.
