About the role

To support the efficient and safe production of food products by operating machinery, handling ingredients, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality throughout the manufacturing process.



Main Responsibilities:
  • Production Operations:

    • Operate food processing and packaging machinery according to standard operating procedures.
    • Assemble, prepare, and pack products in line with production targets and specifications.
    • Monitor production lines for issues and report any faults or deviations.
  • Quality & Hygiene:

    • Conduct visual and physical checks to ensure product quality and consistency.
    • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
    • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
  • Teamwork & Communication:

    • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
    • Communicate effectively regarding production issues, safety concerns, or process improvements.
  • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Accurately complete production records, batch sheets, and quality control logs.
    • Report any incidents, near misses, or non-conformances promptly.

Package Description:

Production Operative – Food Production

Hourly rate of £12.30 plus Shift Allowance £1.10 ph

Shift Pattern

4 On 4 Off - 12hrs

Immediate start; opportunities for progression; 20 days holiday per year, staff shop, onsite free parking, 2 Sisters high-street discount platform.
