Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO). This pivotal role will shape and deliver our strategic vision for Digital, Data & Intelligence Services, ensuring world-class digital support across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and implementation of the Trust’s Digital Strategy.
• Establish digital technology as a core enabler of organisational strategy and business planning.
• Drive improvements in patient care through effective digital transformation.
• Ensure compliance with mandated knowledge, information, and data standards.
• Represent SFH in regional and national digital forums, including the East Midlands Acute Providers (EMAP) and the Digital Design Collaborative (DDC).
• Collaborate with clinicians and managers to optimise digital solutions for safe, high-quality care.
• Manage relationships with key partners and suppliers, including Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service (NHIS)

Strategic Impact

You will work across the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire, and Lincolnshire Integrated Care Systems to secure the benefits of digital investment through evidence-based implementation programmes. Your leadership will be instrumental in identifying and managing project interdependencies, risks, and benefits realisation.
