Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Foundation NHS Trust are looking to recruit a Full-Time (10 Sessions) Speciality Doctor within ourthe Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Servicein Birkenhead
The Team is based at The Stein Centre in Birkenhead .This is a community-based post developed as part of new interim contract arrangement covering Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East areas. Full-time and part-time applications (as part of a job share arrangement) will be considered. This post will assist work in the Adult ADHD Service.
The Adult ADHD Service currently has a contract with Cheshire and Mersey ICB and the service is delivered in Liverpool, on the Wirral and across Cheshire West and Cheshire East localities. The team is contracted to provide a diagnostic assessment and treatment initiation. On the Wirral and in Liverpool, stable patients are discharged to primary care specialist GPs under ‘LEAP’ – Leading Excellence for ADHD in Primary Care. This is in development for Cheshire West and Cheshire East. Where there are no LEAP or shared care arrangements with GPs or specialist ADHD practitioners in Primary Care, CWP can be commissioned to provide ongoing monitoring, prescribing and annual specialist review. The Team is multi-disciplinary, comprising of support workers, Nurse Prescribers and some Consultant Psychiatry time, admin support is provided by Wirral Admin Hub and the team are based at the Stein Centre, Wirral.
