Job Title: Sales Executive and Administrator

Reporting to: Sales Director

Direct Reports: None

Location: Office-based, travelling to various SIS sites and client locations. Extensive travelling and regular periods of time working away from home. Occasional requirement to travel overseas.


MAIN OBJECTIVES

 Developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth operational support throughout the sales process.

 Assist with preparing proposals, processing sales documentation, and maintaining accurate records to support the wider business objectives.


RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES/ TASKS

1. Engage with a diverse range of clients including schools, sports clubs, and contractors, while promoting the company’s portfolio of artificial turf solutions.

2. Negotiate terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers.

3. Gathering market and customer information to identify potential new markets, collaborating with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies.

4. Responding to customer queries with a high level of professionalism and resolving their objections to finalise the sale.

5. Create proposal documents as part of the formal bidding procedure.

6. Inspecting inventory in stock and the quality of the product on display.

7. Offer support in providing customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations.

8. Processing sales orders and coordinating with internal teams to deliver projects efficiently.

9. Take and process customer orders and payments.

10. Managing sales contracts and maintaining an accurate database of sales records, as well as maintaining up-to-date customer records.

11. Creating and updating sales reports for the sales team and management.

12. Assist with promotional activities and trade shows.

13. Keep track of sales targets and ensuring they are met.

14. Other Duties

14.1. To undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time but that shall remain within the competency and skills of the post-holder. This includes covering for the Site & Office Administrator during periods of annual leave or absence.
