How would you like to get paid for five days, but only work four?

At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance — and we’re putting wellbeing first.

That’s why we’re proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full-time pay.

Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW — and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. So, whether it’s already in place or just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to join #teamOFG.

Looking for a truly rewarding role in education? Do you want to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with Autism and additional needs?

We are excited to be expanding our team and looking for Teaching Assistants to join the supportive, specialist environment at Longdon Park School in Egginton. As part of a dedicated team, you’ll help pupils unlock their full potential through personalised support, creative learning experiences, and a focus on wellbeing.

This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to inspire, support, and grow with young people who need a little extra care and encouragement.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting pupils both in and outside the classroom. All our pupils have a diagnosis of Autism and may have additional needs such as anxiety or sensory processing challenges.

Your role will include:

Supporting teaching staff with lesson preparation and classroom delivery.
Working one-to-one or in small groups to guide pupils through personalised learning.
Helping pupils regulate emotions and manage behaviour in line with individual strategies.
Supervising activities both indoors and outdoors, encouraging independence and social interaction.
Assisting with daily routines, emotional regulation, and personal development.
Building strong, trusted relationships with pupils that help boost confidence and motivation.
Creating a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment where everyone can thrive.
You’ll be hands-on, flexible, and supported by experienced staff, therapists, and specialist teachers who share a deep commitment to positive outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking passionate, empathetic individuals who want to contribute to something meaningful. You don’t need to have worked in a school before — if you’re patient, proactive, and eager to learn, we’ll give you the training and support you need to succeed.

Essential Requirements:

English & Maths Level 2 Pass (or GCSE grade C / grade 4 and above)
Full UK Driving Licence
Adaptability and confidence to work both in the classroom and outdoors
A positive, resilient attitude and commitment to supporting young people with additional need
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
