You will be joining a highly successful food manufacturer supplying delicious foods to the major retailers.
You will be working in a state of the art environment where technology is second to none. No trying to clean around 100 year old pieces of kit in this factory!
You will be working with and learning from highly rated and knowledgeable individuals, so this is a great chance to accelerate your career and aim for that Hygiene Manager role in the future.
Your remit for this role is to manage a team of around 30 Hygiene operatives. You must have people management experience and will report into the Hygiene Manager, so although you will be able to use your initiative and manage your team as you see fit, the buck does not stop with you and there will be support from someone senior to yourself.
You will already have been in a similar role within a food environment and be keen to take on the challenges associated with joining a new business and learning your way around a new site with new protocols.
Fundamentally, as an experienced Hygiene professional, you will understand the principles of handling and the use of chemicals and be comfortable in overseeing others in their chemical use.
In addition to this, if you have an understanding of how the department operates in terms of budgets and staffing, etc. then that would certainly be a bonus.
