FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Business Analyst to strengthen their team based in the Hattersley area of Greater Manchester

Business Analyst role:
Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for analysing business requirements, optimising processes, and supporting the delivery of effective system solutions across the organisation.
Business Analyst responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document detailed business requirements.
Map, review, and enhance business processes to drive greater operational efficiency.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions effectively meet business objectives.
Organise and facilitate workshops, meetings, and feedback sessions to support project delivery.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, workflows, and process changes.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in managing change throughout implementation.
Deliver guidance, support, and training to end users during system rollouts, updates, and upgrades.
Business Analyst requirements:
Experience in business analysis or similar roles
Ability to map, analyse, and document business processes clearly and effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Genuine interest in continuous improvement and process optimisation
Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach to work
Willingness to travel to offices and partner sites across the UK
