What does the role involve?

Daily duties to ensure we have the right stock and packaging in the right place at the right time to hit our availability KPIs. You will be involved in managing the replenishment, processing and delivery of stock to for gift production and online sales whilst contributing thoughts to drive new ways of working and championing new processes both internally and externally. You will support the analysis of data for key seasons to ensure the optimum level of sales and customer expectations are met.

You will need is a positive attitude, good attention to detail, and the confidence to be curious.

Working Hours: 37.5 Mon-Fri 8.30- 4.30

What are the key role responsibilities?

· Manage purchasing activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and components.

· Implement procurement strategies aligned with production schedules and business goals.

· Ownership of the purchasing function within Sage/ Khaos, ensuring accurate data entry, reporting, and system optimisation.

· Collaborate with production, planning, and finance teams on system integration and data flow.

· Communicate, both verbally and written, to liaise effectively with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.

· Seasonally plan and align on forecasting, order accuracy, and procurement efficiency.

· Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with existing and new suppliers.

· Collaborate on performance reviews to ensure quality, reliability, and value.

· Work with the team on continuous improvement in line with BRCGS standards.

· Collate data for Extended Producer responsibilities for packaging

· Work cross-functionally with design, production, and quality teams to support product development and manufacturing needs.

What skills do you need?

· Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role.

· Strong working knowledge of Excel, Sage or similar systems.

· Analytical and detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

· Ability to thrive in a hands-on SME environment.

· Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

· Team Player.
