An understanding of the needs of people with a learning disability and the person-centred approach.
The ability to manage, support, and motivate staff teams to ensure high standards of care and effective teamwork across all shifts

About Us:

The Frances Taylor Foundation has a long history of providing personalised, person-centred care. We operate across Liverpool, Merseyside, Brighton & Hove, and Greater London. We pride ourselves on our innovative services and our commitment to improving the lives of those we support. If you share our values, we’d love to have you on board.

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you'll join a committed team of Support Workers that delivers high-quality care and support. This pivotal role involves:

Supporting the Service Manager and Deputy Service Manager in promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents
Helping maintain residents’ independence and dignity by delivering person-centred care and participating in the daily life of the home.
Offering companionship and positive reinforcement through meaningful interactions and active engagement with residents
In the Service Manager’s absence, you’ll also take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring compliance with Frances Taylor Foundation policies and procedures.
About the service:

Our Extra Care Supported Living service supports 9 tenants in self-contained flats at St. Anne's Apartments, Hove. The ethos of Extra Care Supported Living is to promote maximum independence and community involvement, challenging people with learning disabilities to develop new skills and confidence. This includes people with extra care and support needs, for example those arising from a physical disability or long-term health condition, sensory impairment, or mental health issues. Alongside this there is also recognition that for some people, over time, age may bring increased needs for support and care, and that, as far as it is possible to achieve, people should not have to move from their settled supported living accommodation due to increased needs. The Extra Care Supported Living service offers support and care as required throughout the day, and across the whole week. It does not provide regular care during the night, although a member of staff sleeps-in within the block of flats and is able to respond to any emergency.

Why Join Us? We truly care about our staff and offer a range of excellent benefits:

£750 recommend-a-friend bonus.
Pension contributions.
28 days annual leave
Employee Assistance Programme.

“I have worked with the Frances Taylor Foundation for over three years and can honestly say this is the best organisation I have worked for.” – Current Employee
