Crynodeb
The post is part-time and can easily fit alongside a clinical role, or another training role. For those interested in less hours, a job share is considered. For those who are interested in full-time post, we have a range of opportunities in clinical specialisms that could be combined with the role to make up the additional sessions. The post will include both on-line remote delivery as well as in-person delivery. While a significant portion of the work can be undertaken from home, the post holder will need to be able to travel to our base in Epping for in-person delivery; there are opportunities for flexible working arrangements. The Trust offers excellent support for staff CPD, and post holders will be supported to gain qualifications in learning and teaching; other opportunities, for example to gain dual accreditation in a specialist area of psychological therapy, to undertake leadership training, or to develop an area of research, are also available supported by the appraisal process. We have strong links with several regional universities that include research collaborations as well as contribution to teaching and placement experience. There are opportunities for appointments to a preceptorship in a band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist and Clinical Lecturer role for those who may not yet meet the criteria for a band 8a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist and Clinical lecturer role.
