Bespoke Career Solutions Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering business based in Aldridge. This long-standing company specialises in high-quality presswork, metal fabrication, and toolmaking, supplying components to a range of industries across the UK.
They are now seeking an experienced Power Press Setter / Tool Setter to join their skilled production team.
The Role
As a Power Press Setter / Tool Setter, you will:
Set, adjust, and operate a range of presses including mechanical, hydraulic, fly, and double-action types
Fit and align tooling and dies to meet precise tolerances
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Conduct quality checks and ensure output meets required standards
Carry out minor maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Work collaboratively within a small, experienced team
Lathe experience would be advantageous but not essential.
What We’re Looking For
Proven background as a Power Press Setter, Tool Setter, or Press Operator
Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic press machinery
Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings
ROSPA or equivalent press-safety certification (or willingness to undertake training)
Strong mechanical understanding, precision, and attention to detail
Reliable and self-motivated work ethic
