Summary

Engineering Machinist
Nottingham
£15 per hour + Overtime + Bonus + Benefits

Great opportunity here for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a growing company, based in Nottingham.
You will be responsible for programming and operating a range of machinery and also get involved with maintenance and quality inspection.

The Role:

  • Measure, mark, and prepare materials for machining.

  • Interpret CAD drawings to select and set up machinery.

  • Program and operate CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders, drills, etc.).

  • Monitor operations, adjust settings, and ensure product quality.

  • Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs.

  • Use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, verniers).

  • Follow safety procedures and complete assigned workshop tasks.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a CNC Machinist.
  • Ability to read schematics, manuals and engineering drawings.
  • Welding experience - beneficial.
  • Experience working on XYZ machines.
