Engineering Machinist

£15 per hour + Overtime + Bonus + Benefits
Great opportunity here for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a growing company, based in Nottingham.
You will be responsible for programming and operating a range of machinery and also get involved with maintenance and quality inspection.
The Role:

Measure, mark, and prepare materials for machining.

Interpret CAD drawings to select and set up machinery.

Program and operate CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders, drills, etc.).

Monitor operations, adjust settings, and ensure product quality.

Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs.

Use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, verniers).

Follow safety procedures and complete assigned workshop tasks.
The Candidate:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist.
- Ability to read schematics, manuals and engineering drawings.
- Welding experience - beneficial.
- Experience working on XYZ machines.
